Engineering Safety

The Master’s degree programme in Engineering Safety is a particularly topical course of study relevant for and required by the business. It aims at developing skills to ensure healthy and safe labour conditions and risk assessment in the industrial sector. The content of the curriculum meets the contemporary requirements for training of engineering personnel in the area of industrial safety.

Taking a degree in this course of studies provides engineering and technical knowledge and practical experience in the field of occupational safety and healthy labour conditions. This allows graduates to find occupational fulfilment as safety specialists while working in various structural units related to safety, such as: the General Labour Inspectorate (GLI) and its regional sub-divisions; offices of occupational medicine (OOM); expert safety inspectors for the needs of the judicial system, the administration, the army, and many others. The safety engineer is a required and highly valued occupation that is respected by every employer in Bulgaria and around the world.
