The aim of the Master’s degree programme in Underground mining of minerals is to train university specialists (holders of a Master’s degree) in the area of underground mining of solid minerals, who have obtained broad-based and high-quality fundamental, general-to-special and special theoretical training combined with modern knowledge and skills, as well as with communication abilities that all together allow students to quickly adapt to the conditions of their occupational activity and to work creatively and effectively in the field of underground mining (underground mining of ores, underground mining of bedded deposits, including underground coal mining), as technologists, constructors, designers, organisers of mining activities, researchers, teachers in secondary schools with vocational training or in higher schools.
