The course of studies in Management of the Mining and Processing of Minerals provides specialised vocational training in two engineering areas, in the vocational field of mining and processing of minerals (ores of ferrous, non-ferrous, rare, and precious metals, industrial minerals and rocks). The aim is to offer managerial and organisational knowledge and skills characteristic of both a mining engineer and an engineer in mineral processing.

The graduates are qualified to hold managerial and executive positions in: enterprises in the mineral sector; open-cast and underground mines; processing plants and other industrial enterprises related to the energy and raw material base; design companies; and research institutes and laboratories.
