The training of doctoral students is an integral part of the entire educational and scientific process in the Department of Drilling, Extraction, and Transport of Oil and Gas.
The main goal is raising the qualification of doctoral students and their formation as research workers, teaching staff in higher schools, and highly qualified specialists from various scientific and applied fields in the development and exploitation of oil and gas fields and gas condensate deposits. In order to achieve this goal, a number of tasks are solved, the most important of which are as follows:
The training of doctoral students is carried out in conformity to the modern scientific and technological achievements in the respective course of study worldwide. A variety of training forms are employed: lectures, courses, specialised seminars, consultations with specialists in the respective field, independent work, etc. The pedagogical activity of the doctoral students is expressed in conducting laboratory work, seminars, and practical training with the students. The training of doctoral students in the scientific course of study in Development and Exploitation of Oil and Gas Fields and Gas Condensate Deposits is carried out by the Department of Drilling, Extraction and Transport of Oil and Gas at the Faculty of Geo-Exploration. In terms of higher education in this country, it is the only one which trains specialists in Development and Exploitation of Oil and Gas Fields and Gas Condensate Deposits, thus setting the tasks and motives at a higher level and with greater responsibilities. |
