Annual of the University of Mining and Geology \u201cSt. Ivan Rilski\u201d <\/strong>has been published since 1954.<\/p>\n

Annual of the University of Mining and Geology \u201cSt. Ivan Rilski\u201d <\/strong>is a scientific journal of the University of Mining and Geology \u201cSt. Ivan Rilski\u201d, with an editorial board, included in the National Reference List (NRL) of Contemporary Bulgarian Scientific Publications with Scientific Review maintained by the Minister of Education and Science through the National Centre for Information and Documentation under \u2116 4369, as well as in the cooperative international online bibliographic system and services COBISS.<\/p>\n

Annual of the University of Mining and Geology \u201cSt. Ivan Rilski\u201d<\/strong> is a collection of works by Bulgarian and foreign scientists, university lecturers, doctoral students, undergraduate students.<\/p>\n

Its main goal is to present the latest trends and achievements in the field of exploration, mining, and mineral processing research, waste processing and recycling, mechanization, electrification and automation, economics and management, humanities and social sciences, as well as a focus on innovation in education.<\/p>\n

    The<\/em><\/strong> Proceedings<\/strong> in the Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Mining and Geology \u201cSt. Ivan Rilski\u201d<\/strong><\/em> is a scientific publication of the University of Mining and Geology \u201cSt. Ivan Rilski\u201d, with an editorial board, included in the National Reference List (NRL) of Contemporary Bulgarian Scientific Publications with Scientific Review maintained by the Minister of Education and Science through the National Centre for Information and Documentation under \u2116 4486. The Proceedings<\/em><\/strong> is a collection of works by Bulgarian and foreign writers, scholars and scientists, university lecturers, doctoral students, undergraduate students. It presents the achievements, the reasoning production, in-depth, interesting, and meaningful reflections of individual authors or teams of authors, whose quests are focused in the field of the humanities and the socialal sciences.<\/p>\n

    The Proceedings<\/em><\/strong> were first published in 2001 and up until 2016 were named \u201cProceedings of the University of Mining and Geology \u201cSt. Ivan Rilski\u201d, Department of the Humanities\u201d (under \u2116 2563 in the NRL). Between 2017 and 2020, the publication was entitled \u201cProceedings of the Department of Foreign Languages and Sports at the University of Mining and Geology \u201cSt. Ivan Rilski\u201d (under \u2116 4099 in the NRL). Since 2021, the journal has been upgraded and renamed to \u201cProceedings in the Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Mining and Geology \u201cSt. Ivan Rilski\u201d\u00a0 and covers new areas of scientific thought.<\/p>\n

    The Proceedings<\/em><\/strong> have a structure encompassing 13 rubrics<\/strong> but their scope can further be expanded:<\/p>\n

    • Linguistics<\/em> (an annual heading since 2016 which offers new insights and research in this area of \u200b\u200bthe humanities)<\/li>\n
    • Theory and practice<\/em><\/li>\n
    • Education<\/em><\/li>\n
    • Sources<\/em> (contains translations of texts by authors who are emblematic for world thought)<\/li>\n
    • Guest <\/em>(presents the work of prominent Bulgarian scholars)<\/li>\n
    • Through the Philosophical Archives<\/em> (offers texts by influential Bulgarian thinkers)<\/li>\n
    • Translation<\/em><\/li>\n
    • Debut<\/em> (the emphasis of the publication in recent years has been to provide an opportunity for young authors, including bachelors since 2016; in many cases, it is on our pages that they see their first publications and this is evidence of the contribution of the journal among the young reading and writing audience)<\/li>\n
    • Essay<\/em><\/li>\n
    • Anniversary<\/em><\/li>\n
    • In memoriam<\/em> (commemorates Bulgarian and foreign authors and contemporaries from the thematic field of the journal)<\/li>\n
    • Calendar<\/em> (reflects the main activities of members of the academic body of the University of Mining and Geology \u201cSt. Ivan Rilski\u201d who perform in the area of the humanities and the social sciences)<\/li>\n
    • Bibliographic index<\/em> (the rubric is offered in anniversary issues; in the index, the entries are in an alphabetical order – by the authors\u2019 names; those by the same author are arranged chronologically; for each entry, the volume of the Proceedings <\/em>is indicated, resp. the year of print, and the pages on which it was published).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Throughout the years of the existence of the journal, interest in the publication has been maintained. So far, 233 texts have been published in the Proceedings<\/em><\/strong> (articles, lectures, reports on research projects, translations with comments, presentations of prominent scholars from the past and present, biographical sketches, essays). The authors are mainly representatives of the University of Mining and Geology \u201cSt. Ivan Rilski\u201d and external lecturers, researchers, doctoral students, undergraduate students – from Sofia University \u201cSt. Kl. Ohridski\u201d, Plovdiv University \u201cP. Hilendarski\u201d, the University of National and World Economy, the University of Library Studies and Information Technology (UniBIT), the New Bulgarian University (NBU), the \u201cV. Levski\u201d National Sports Academy (NSA), the \u201cT. Kableshkov\u201d Higher School of Transport, scholars from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, and many others. The attraction of guest scholars from external institutions is indicative of the journal\u2019s high value maintained and level appreciated.<\/p>\n

      Sustainable Extraction and Processing of Raw Materials (SEPRM) <\/strong>is a specialized scientific edition dedicated to presenting original, innovative specific and interdisciplinary research articles and concise reviews on environmentally friendly and viable production, ensuring of resources for the society sustainable development.<\/p>\n

      The journal publishes also selected papers of the Annual International Scientific Conference of the University of Mining and Geology \u201cSt. Ivan Rilski\u201d, Sofia, Bulgaria.<\/p>\n
