The training in the doctoral programme in Systems and <\/em>D<\/em>evices for <\/em>E<\/em>nvironmental <\/em>P<\/em>rotection<\/em> at the University of Mining and Geology \u201cSt. Ivan Rilski\u201d offered to future specialists prepares them for a career and to meet the contemporary ecological challenges of industry and society.<\/p>\n

Apart from solid academic knowledge, the training in this program makes it possible to develop a variety of practical skills related to the applied tasks for environmental protection. The students who have chosen to take a PhD in this course of study will enhance their knowledge on the ecological impact of the energy and mineral sectors of industry on the environment, as well as on the application of efficient, environmentally-friendly, technological solutions, adapted to the local conditions, aimed at sustainable industrial development and economic growth.<\/p>\n

The focus in the programme are the different types of system and devices applied in various processes for the purpose of improving the quality of the environment by key components for the environment, in the conditions of a real production process.<\/p>\n

The graduates of this doctoral programme can find occupational fulfilment as highly qualified experts and ecologists (environmental experts) in various branches of industry and science, in government institutions both within the European Union member states and internationally. Training in the doctoral programme in Systems and <\/em>Devices for Environmental Protection<\/em> is full-time, part-time, or in an open form of study.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n
