The doctoral programme prepares highly qualified specialists in the field of underground civil and mining engineering. In the course of training, several exams are taken: in Construction Statics, Structures of Underground Facilities, Underground Construction, Underground Civil Engineering, or others.<\/p>\n

An exam in a foreign language is also taken. Subsequently, the good world practices in the field of underground construction are analysed and compared. Theoretical and practical patterns are developed for the dimensioning and practical application of underground support structures and underground facilities.<\/p>\n

Models of the interaction between massif and structure are worked out and analysed. Predominance is given to solving scientific and practical issues in the area of underground urban, tunnelling, and metropolitan railway construction.<\/p>\n

Innovations are proposed, methods are granted patent or are adapted in the construction of automobile, railway, hydraulic engineering, and communication underground facilities. Last but not least, scientific tasks are defined and solved in the design and construction of mine workings and chambers, as well as in the maintenance of the existing underground mining facilities.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n
