The main goal of the doctoral program is to prepare creative, highly qualified scientists with expert capacity and leadership qualities in the <\/strong>areas<\/strong> of<\/strong>:<\/strong> the <\/em><\/strong>processing <\/em><\/strong>of <\/em><\/strong>ores of ferrous, nonferrous, rare<\/em><\/strong>,<\/em><\/strong> and precious metals, coal, industrial minerals, <\/em><\/strong>building materials,<\/em><\/strong> and rock <\/em><\/strong>lin<\/em><\/strong>ing materials<\/em><\/strong>;<\/em><\/strong> management, processing<\/em><\/strong>,<\/em><\/strong> and recovery of solid and liquid industrial and <\/em><\/strong>municipal\/<\/em><\/strong>household waste.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Through the thorough research, theoretical, and practical training and under the guidance of prominent scientists who are experts in their scientific area, a sustainable educational process is carried out which is aimed at offering fundamental knowledge and integrated qualities for highly competent implementation of scientific, theoretical, practical, and teaching activities in the fields of mineral processing and recycling of raw materials.<\/p>\n

The training is carried out in two stages: educational and research. It is well-balanced, with a view to the specialised amassing and upgrading of knowledge, to conducting profound research work, and to the formation of a wide range of specialised vocational skills and interdisciplinary competences.<\/p>\n

Holders of a Master\u2019s educational and qualification degree can apply for admission as doctoral students.<\/p>\n

Training is carried out according to an individual curriculum, through an organised educational process, and its objective is to further broaden and upgrade the specialised knowledge of doctoral students in the scientific course of study in Mineral Processing and Recycling<\/em>, their expertise in the methods employed, and their linguistic training, which altogether guarantee the development of a doctoral thesis on a high scientific level.<\/p>\n

The training activities comprise research work, attendance and participation in courses and seminars, teaching, participation in international and national scientific forums, taking exams in course units on the individual curriculum, and defence of a doctoral thesis.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n
