Preparing highly qualified researchers who can solve different practical and scientific issues related to the electricity supply of technological processes which take place in risky fire and explosion environments in the mining, oil, gas and chemical industries as well as other specific conditions.<br \/>\n2. Creating new scientific products aimed at improving the effectiveness, technical and ecological parameters, energy consumption of old and new machines using modern technologies in engineering.<br \/>\n3. Timely information on the latest achievements in science and technology worldwide.<br \/>\n4. Conducting research on the use of electricity in various industries and the utilities sector.<br \/>\n5. Wide implementation of new technologies related to renewable energy sources.<br \/>\n6. Conducting research to increase the energy efficiency of technological processes, machines, units and industrial complexes.<br \/>\n7. Improving the reliability of power supply system management, reducing inter-transmission energy losses and maintaining the quality of electricity for consumers.<br \/>\n8. Conducting research in the field of electricity supply and electrical equipment.<\/p>\n<p>One of the main tasks at the Department of Electrification of Mine Production is to create conditions, stimulate the professional development of young scientists and ensure continuity at the department. Some of the PhD graduates and habilitated members of the department are lecturers, others work as habilitated lecturers in related departments. Other PhD graduates work and occupy responsible positions in various companies and educational institutions in the country and abroad.<\/p>\n<p>In the competitive and rapidly changing environment, innovative practices are essential to ensure competitiveness to the PhD programme.
