RULES FOR ADMISSION OF FOREIGN STUDENTS TO THE UNIVERSITY OF MINING AND GEOLOGY \u201cST. IVAN RILSKI\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

SECTION \u0406.<\/p>\n

GENERAL PROVISIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n\n\n\n
Art. 1<\/strong> (1) The University of Mining and Geology \u201cSt. Ivan Rilski\u201d admits as students foreign applicants who hold a document of completed secondary education enabling them to be admitted to higher schools in the issuing country, or are holders of documents of completed secondary education, or of documents of higher education graduated, or are holders of an academic degree.<\/p>\n

(2) Foreign citizens may apply for taking a Bachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s degree at the University of Mining and Geology \u201cSt. Ivan Rilski\u201d under the following conditions:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. in implementation of inter-governmental agreements for educational, scientific, and cultural exchange;<\/li>\n
  2. in compliance with acts of the Council of Ministers;<\/li>\n
  3. for paid tuition (outside the categories listed in Item 1 and Item 2), subject to Art. 95, Para. 7 of the Higher Education Act. Students shall be classified according to documents and shall pay annual tuition fees to foreign citizens.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    (3) Foreigners may apply for training at the University of Mining and Geology \u201cSt. Ivan Rilski\u201d and under the conditions and procedure for admission of Bulgarian citizens to the higher schools of the Republic of Bulgaria provided they:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. have a permanent residence statute on the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria;<\/li>\n
    2. have a refugee statute;<\/li>\n
    3. are of Bulgarian nationality, certified under Decree No 103 of the Council of Ministers of 1993 for carrying out educational activity among Bulgarians abroad;<\/li>\n
    4. are nationals of Member States of the European Union (EU).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      (4) The applicants under Para. 3 shall be admitted within the annual number of students approved by the Council of Ministers. The Regulations for Student Admission to the Bachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s degrees at the University of Mining and Geology \u201cSt. Ivan Rilski\u201d shall be in force for them.<\/p>\n

      (5) The applicants under Para. 2, Item 1 shall submit the documents under Art. 2(1), Item 1 through to item 9 in the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Science through the competent institutions in the country from which they are applicants.<\/p>\n

      They shall be admitted under the conditions and in accordance with the procedures provisioned by the inter-governmental agreements, after concordance with the University of Mining and Geology \u201cSt. Ivan Rilski\u201d.<\/p>\n

      (6) The applicants under Para. 2, Item 2 shall submit their documents in the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Science and shall be admitted under the conditions and in accordance with the procedure provisioned in the respective act of the Council of Ministers.<\/p>\n

      (7) For the applicants under Para. 2, Item 3, the provisions of Section II through to Section V of these Rules shall apply.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n

      SECTION \u0406\u0406.<\/p>\n

      CONDITIONS FOR APPLYING AND NECESSARY DOCUMENTS OF FOREIGNERS FROM NON-EU COUNTRIES WISHING TO BE TRAINED AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MINING AND GEOLOGY<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Art. 2<\/strong>. (1) Applicant students shall submit the following documents:<\/p>\n
